Hier der Originaltext von John :
The SU 26 is quite an old kit, in fact is shows Sanyo 1700
cells on the plan.
My model is now three years old and until recently was powered by a Speed
700 Neodim with 2:1 belt drive, 14 cells, and various props from 13.5 X 7 to
14 x 8.
Pulling 50 amps at take off the flights were only about 3 minutes of
aerobatics, and the cells were so hot that they could not be held in the
hand afterwards, so did not last long. In fact they caused the Profilm on
the fuselage to bubble with the heat. One motor burnt out the brushes with
this high current.
It flew quite well but was not a comfortable flier as the power was only
just enough, and the 700 could not take any more cells.
Fitting the TM350-20 with 21 turns changed everything. With the motor 200
grams lighter the batteries could be moved forward allowing an extra two
cells to be used, and the current dropped to 27 amps with the 14 x 7 APC-E
prop. I was also able to change the RX battery to 850mah from the lighter
250mah in the interests of safety.
It will take off from rough grass with ease, flight times are now over six
minutes of aerobatics with plenty of power to taxi back, and it is now a
pleasure to fly.
The Hacker 70-3p opto Controller is a wonderful device that can be easily
programmed to make the most of any brushless motor.
